ELECTRICAL SAFETY PROCEDUREAn electrical safety check is a procedure that is typically done annually. It ensures that the the facilities medical equipment is operating correctly electronically, receiving proper voltage and not exposing patient to potential shock hazard. Equipment will have ground and leakage checked with calibrated safety analyzer. Individual units will be labeled for authentication and a log is provided of services and findings. Log provided includes the individual devices, their locations and the findings found during servicing. |
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE/ P.M.Preventative maintenance is a more in-depth procedure and has to do more with the functionality of the unit. Equipment is checked according to the Manufacturer’s operational or preventative maintenance function testing. Individual units will be labeled for authentication and a log is provided of services and findings. VENTILATOR P.M. Ventilator servicing is performed in the order it is received and according to the needs of the individual device and manufacturer specifications. We follow all guidelines for servicing set forth by the manufacturer. Ventilators are returned bagged with service report and test sheets. |
RECERTIFICATIONA procedure that is performed on a unit that is either between P.M. dates or is being transferred from use on one patient to use on another patient. This certifies that the unit is working properly and in accordance to the manufacturer when applied to the new patient. |
REPAIRSAll repairs are done with manufacturer parts unless otherwise stated and previously approved. Most repairs can be performed on-site limiting down time for facility. This option is WHERE APPLICABLE and not available in all situations. Repairs can be made on most makes and models. |
FILTERSWe decided that this was a field that needed some help and decided to do something about it. Many facilities overlook filters and often do not even clean them. A lot of repairs, especially those to concentrators and nebulizers, can be avoided by simply replacing or cleaning filters. We have developed filter options that will align with the needs of any facility. Filters are available or can be supplied by facility and applied by an Autogenous Medical technician. We also offer a program that monitors and maintains in house filters for facilities that we service. All filters are ordered factory direct unless otherwise stated and previously approved. Third party filters are available where applicable. |
BATTERIESBatteries are necessary for a lot of units in the medical field and act as a safety back-up in the occurrence of power outages. Batteries are factory direct from the manufacturer unless otherwise stated and previously approved. Third party batteries are available where applicable. |
SERVICE CLEANINGService cleaning is essential in the health industry. Medical devices go into some of the most hazardous areas and conditions. These units have to be cleaned to the fullest extent and have to be trusted to go onto another patient. This is a precious procedure especially if the unit was exposed to Staph, MRSA or other blood bourne diseases. This service will be provided when needed. Units will be taken apart to the extent of need-complete breakdown if needed, cleaned and recertified. Living in Florida, we have to worry more about bugs than most and this tends be harder for some than others, especially our elderly. The bug cases are pretty common here and have to be dealt with cautiously. We offer cleaning procedures that include complete disassembly, full internal cleaning and salvaging of what parts can be salvaged with the next patients health and well being in mind! There is a downtime that is included in this process. |
ASSET MANAGEMENTAsset management is one of the most hectic aspects of running a facility in the medical field. We offer multiple programs that cover keeping up with facility equipment needs, maintaining a supply of equipment for emergencies and tracking inventory that has been outsourced for repair or preventative maintenance. All you have to do is make the initial call that the unit is out of service, management of interior equipment is done in association with the phone call that starts the process. Once contacted, we repair, replace from location inventory or take care of rental agreements for the facility. (Rental prices additional to the cost of program and are subject to approval.) |
A list of equipment will be requested for electrical safety checks and P.M. scheduling. This is to ensure that only the units that the facility owns are serviced. ANY and ALL questionable equipment WILL NOT be serviced until discovery of ownership.
AUTOGENOUS MEDICAL TECHNICIANS WILL NOT ENTER A ROOM LABEL QUARANTINE AT ANY TIME AT ANY LOCATION!
Package pricing is dependent on the service program location chooses.
All services can be preformed on-site WHERE APPLICABLE and according to agreed terms within the desired time guidelines.
